This pathfinder is to help the organization of Greg Wilon's thoughts and resources as he works on completing his disertation at the University of Calgary.

Greg is currently a doctoral student at the U of C's education department. His focus within his studies is in Educational Technology.

Previous to studying to complete his doctoral Greg was/is a teacher in Northern Ontario, working in predominatley isolated areas in or near Native reservations.

While working in various communities he noticed a huge gap between the elders in the communities and the students in his classroom. Greg questioned the role of educational technology in this change of culture within the communities.

This has lead him to focus on: “How does the utilization of educational technology adjust students’ societal perceptions?”
as his research question.

I am not sure who is going to use this site, but I hope that with it being a very small part of the vast and wild internet that it may bring together some educators of like mind and help them find their way through the entanglements in which most teachers find themselves.
